Is it apt-gettable?

Well! I visited the webpage of flock you mentioned and I could not find any .deb packages excepet .tar.gz files. Do you know of any place from which flock can be installed by apt-get?

Flock .deb package

No, I don't think there's a Debian package, yet. The tarball works fine on Debian, though (I tried it on unstable).

well it would be nice to have a .deb package

flock runs smoothly on ubuntu 5.10 :) I do hope flock dev release some linux packages (rpm, deb, ebuild etc)
