Uwe Hermann | A slightly paranoid Debian developer

A great book about computer security is now available online for free — Ross Andersons Security Engineering (originally published 2001), and hence is now on my reading-list.

I've recently read Practical Cryptography (by Niels Ferguson and Bruce Schneier) which is a must-read for everybody who even merely thinks about designing or implementing a crypto-protocol of any sort. If Security Engineering is only half as good as this book, it'll definately be well worth reading.
